There is something undeniably magical about Luttrellstown Castle. From its historic stone façades to the intimate interiors and expansive grounds, the castle offers endless possibilities for creating images and films that feel editorial, romantic, and effortlessly luxurious.
For this editorial shoot, we focused on how light, architecture, and movement come together to tell a story. Every corner of Luttrellstown Castle has character, and our goal was to translate that into photography and videography that feels timeless yet modern, sophisticated yet natural.
The Castle Facade – Grandeur Meets Romance
The front of the castle is instantly iconic. Its stonework, symmetry, and historic presence make it perfect for portraits and cinematic shots that feel bold yet intimate. During this shoot, we used soft morning light to highlight texture while keeping the couple at the heart of every frame.
This area frames the subject beautifully without overpowering them. It’s ideal for couples who want editorial wedding photography and cinematic videography that feels alive, elegant, and natural.
The Rear of the Castle – Stone Steps and Manicured Lawn
At the back of the castle, stone steps lead down to a large, manicured lawn, creating a perfect setting for portraits with the castle as a dramatic backdrop. Here, we captured editorial-style images and cinematic footage that highlight movement, light, and the architectural beauty of the castle. The combination of the steps, the lawn, and the castle’s façade in the background creates a luxurious, cinematic setting that feels both editorial and timeless.
This area is perfect for capturing relaxed, editorial portraits while still maintaining a sense of grandeur and sophistication. It allows for creative compositions and cinematic storytelling in both photography and videography.
Interior Spaces – Intimate, Elegant, and Timeless
Luttrellstown Castle’s interiors are designed for storytelling. From sweeping staircases to light-filled halls, every space radiates warmth, elegance, and luxury. In this editorial, we captured cinematic moments indoors, focusing on the interplay of natural light, movement, and the fine details of styling.
The interiors are perfect for overcast days or when you want portraits and video that feel editorial yet intimate. Natural light from large windows allows us to create soft, cinematic visuals that feel effortless and timeless.
